About Riju
Riju Vashisht is Genpact’s Global Business Leader for Transformation Services and Enterprise Sales.
In this role, Riju leads client relationship management, transformation services, and commercial operations globally. She is responsible for driving strategic development and delivery of integrated transformation, digital, and analytics solutions to deliver business outcomes for clients across multiple industries and holds the responsibility for overseeing the company’s marketing agenda and strategies that drive advocacy and loyalty for the Genpact brand. Riju brings insights and a unique perspective to client CXOs that help them drive change and accelerate growth.
Previously, Riju served as Genpact’s leader of digital solutioning, automation, and transitions, where she focused on scaling the automation business and delivering digital transformation for clients. Before that, she was Chief Operating Officer of Genpact’s Consumer Goods, Retail, Life Sciences, and Healthcare businesses. In that role, she led global operations, transformation delivery, and employee engagement to help clients succeed in their business transformation journeys. Riju was part of the Genpact leadership team that oversaw significant transformation of Genpact from a GE unit for back-office operations to an independent company, becoming a global leader in professional services and driving transformation for clients.
Riju started her career with Unilever as a graduate trainee, honing her people management skills. She followed with a successful stint in Human Resources at Whirlpool. Riju also led the people function at Walmart India when it was establishing its operations in India. Riju has successfully performed a variety of people leadership roles across companies and geographies, scaling teams across India, the Philippines, and South Africa. She brings a deep understanding of people and business drivers and ways to effectively align them to drive client outcomes.
A certified Six Sigma Green Belt, Riju has a master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering.
