The Allies Continue to Increase in Numbers and Strength!
I was delighted to see this latest entry on the Combat Veterans for Ron Paul’s web site by my good friend and brother in arms Nick Allison. These folks and their friends have quickly become some of my most stalwart allies, and I couldn’t be happier about that!
In a related note, I had this to say in a response to this wonderful post:
Y’know, I keep meeting people who step up and join in with my growing cadre of allies regularly lately, and most of their connections trace back to my original encounter with CVRP.
Today I quit being a wuss and contacted Kellie Swift-Wikel, the host at Truth Finders Network who conducted such a great interview with Tatiana Moroz the other day. A couple of PMs later and she unexpectedly announced that she was about to fire up a live broadcast, invited me to call in, and I ended up spending a good half hour or so on with her discussing my disability, blog and mobility cause as well as her own amazing story about her young daughter who’s afflicted with several serious maladies, some of which carry invisible symptoms similar to those of MS, yet is still a happy and spiritually sound kid.
She plugged the heck out of my Get Glenn Mobile! project throughout for her listeners and couldn’t have been a more accommodating host. Kellie’s one who really GETS it, and having her join the GGM! corps was mighty gratifying.
The warmth and willingness to help I’m seeing from people isn’t something I expected…but I’m not surprised. THIS is the face of the real America; it’s very much alive and eager to promote freedom in all its forms, just like I knew it was.
Kellie Swift-Wikel is one very smart, VERY gutsy lady. As with you CVRP guys, Tatiana Moroz and so many other good people I’ve encountered since I began this little adventure, I’m delighted and honored to know her.
If folks aren’t yet familiar with this great bunch, do yourselves a favor and check out Truth Finders Network at http://truthfindersnetwork.com/index.html!
I’ve said it before: this project is obviously going to succeed. The only question is when. I’m not going into details yet, but I’ve taken a step to accelerate the awareness-raising efforts of the cause in an effort to see its goal reached this very month, which should free me in time to join my friends and newly discovered family in Tampa for the events surrounding the RNC. Let’s hope the plan works.
